Lydia Ola Taiwo was born to a young family in London in 1964. From foster care Lydia moved in with her parents when she was five years old. She faced a horrific life of abuse for seven years. She was able to forgive her parents after twenty-six years. This is an account of her traumatic life up to the age of 12.This book tells no lie it is all true. The book was not written to condemn or criticize anyone but a reflective and personal account of an abusive life. She eventually forgave the abusers after 26 long years which released her from pain and hurt if she hadn't forgiven she would have some very horrible memories still in her head.
This is an interesting quote made by Lewis B. Smedes
“To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you.”
